Man Brings Grenade To Boston Firehouse

MISSION HILL (CBS) – A man brought grenade to a fire house on Huntington Avenue Monday afternoon.

The fire department says he was renovating the attic in his home and opened up a wall and found the device. There was a pin in it and it was intact.

So he put the grenade in his car and drove to Engine 37 and Ladder 26.

The bomb squad was called in and took the device away. No one was hurt.

It's not clear yet if the grenade was real.
