If you're looking for a place to explore with your little ones we have a great place in mind.

Gore Place in Waltham has "Take a Walk" activities with a family adventure pack.

Explore the 48 acres of Gore Place equipped with a backpack, binoculars and activities geared for kids 3 to 8.

Topics like archaeology, raised garden beds and even a math challenge are just some of the activities in store for you. It all takes place Mondays through Saturdays till 3 o'clock and some selected Sundays.

A one hour rental is just $5 per backpack. Parking is free.

Ring in the New Year by getting into the arts.

The Danforth Museum's New Winter Exhibitions is now open.

Many exhibits including wood sculptures in an exhibit called "Things Unseen" and fabric in a Children's exhibit called "Pocket Full of Posies" are on display.

Many of the exhibits run until February. Admission is $11 for adults, $9 for seniors and students are just $8. Children under 17 are free.

Cirque du Soleil returns to Boston this week with Dralion at the Agganis Arena at Boston University.

This latest performance takes ancient Chinese circus traditions and combines it with the avant-garde style of Cirque du Soleil.

Cirque du Soleil opens this Wednesday, January 5 and runs through Sunday, January 9.

Tickets start at $45 with discounts for seniors, students and the military.
