BOSTON (CBS) – The Registry of Motor Vehicles is having problems.
It can’t carry out transactions for licenses and registrations online.
Communications Director Ann Dufresne told WBZ-TV there was a “major disruption” in a connection to a database.
The problem was first discovered around 7:30 a.m. It affected all 30 RMV branches as well as web services.
They are now able to process transactions at all branches, but there are still problems with the web site.
If you’re unable to complete your transaction, all RMV branches will be open during their normal business hours Monday January 3rd.
