Large Crowds Expected For First Night Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – One million people could be coming to Boston for the 35th annual First Night celebration Friday.

For the first time, Symphony Hall is one of the venues, along with the Paramount and Modern Theaters downtown.

There are several ice sculptures at Copley Plaza and on the Common.  There's also one at the Aquarium.

First Night Boston has activities for the whole family, including the FedEx Family Festival being held at the Hynes Convention Center from 1 to 6 p.m. and the Grand Procession down Boylston Street to the Common.

To get into any First Night Boston event, you need a First Night button, which are $18 each, or $15 if you order them online at FirstNight.org.
