December Blizzard: Snow Emergency List

BOSTON (CBS) — The following cities and towns have issued snow emergencies for the storm. Parking restrictions may be in effect in additional towns.

BROCKTON – Sunday at 6 p.m. until further notice.
BROOKLINE – 4 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
CAMBRIDGE – 2 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
CHELSEA – 2 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
DEDHAM – Sunday at 12 p.m. through 7 a.m. Wednesday.
DUDLEY – Snow emergency over, parking ban still in effect.
EVERETT – 12 p.m. Sunday through 12 p.m. Tuesday.
GLOUCESTER – Sunday at 2 p.m. through 7 a.m. Tuesday.
LYNN – 2 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
MALDEN – Sunday 6 p.m. until Tuesday 6 a.m.
MANSFIELD – Sunday at 3 p.m. through 7 a.m. Tuesday.
MEDFORD – Until further notice
NEW BEDFORD–  Sunday at 6 p.m. through 6 p.m. Tuesday
NEWBURYPORT – 3 p.m. Sunday until Tuesday 7 a.m.
NEWTON – 2 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
QUINCY – through Tuesday morning.
REVERE – Sunday at 10 a.m. until further notice.
SAUGUS – Sunday at 5 p.m. until further notice.
SWANSEA – 12 p.m. Sunday until further notice.
TAUNTON – 12 p.m. Sunday through 11:59 Tuesday.
WAREHAM – 1 p.m. until Tuesday 12 a.m.
WINCHESTER – Sunday at 6 p.m. until further notice.
WEBSTER – Sunday morning until further notice.
WOBURN – Sunday at 3 p.m. through 6 a.m. Tuesday.

    Waltham issued a snow emergency Sunday morning. I got the message by their email update system.

    Framingham has declared a snow emergency as well, got it via reverse 911

    norwood also got an emegency blizzard warnin how mnay inches are we supposed 2 get?

    quincy is under a snow emergency until 6am tuesday it started at 12pm sunday.

    Quincy is getting wailed, we have about 6 inches so far with no end in sight. My power had dipped 2ce in the past 3 hours. If we lose power, we are sunk. Hope for the best.
