Parishioners Hold Long-Awaited Mass In Middleboro Church

MIDDLEBORO (CBS) — Two years after a devastating fire, a local parish is home.

Flames destroyed Middleboro’s Central Congregational Church in May 2009. Nothing could be saved.

But on Christmas Eve, parishioners got a special gift – a mass they never expected to hold.

    It is good that the people of this congregation are able to worship in their church again, but as Don D said, there was no MASS….unless the entire congregation converted to Catholicism while they were waiting for their church to be rebuilt.
