BOSTON (CBS) — Hard to believe but Christmas eve is here and once again the folks over at NORAD are keeping an eye on the skies tracking one particular jolly red elf.

Lt. Desmond James says Santa’s on his way and the trip is already under way.

According to NORAD’s Santa tracking website, there are many ways they track Santa including radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.
