Keller @ Large: Spend Or Save Taxes?

BOSTON (CBS) -- Shortly before midnight Thursday, President Obama's tax plan got enough votes from the House of Representatives to pass.

Critics are upset it extends Bush-era tax cuts for everyone, including the rich.

The bill includes a one-year cut in social security payroll taxes that could put hundreds of dollars back into your paycheck next year.

The goal is to boost consumer spending. But will it work?

Some people say they'll spend it rather than save, while others report the opposite.

WBZ's Jon Keller talks with people about what they'll do with an unexpected tax return.
