Teen Killed In Fall River Crash

FALL RIVER (CBS) -- A 16-year-old Westport teen was killed in a single-car crash on Route 24 North in Fall River Saturday morning.

It was about 9:00 a.m. when the unidentified driver somehow crashed near the Route 79 exit. Investigators say the teen was ejected from his Jeep and pronounced dead at the scene.

A state police reconstruction team was at the crash location for over three hours.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, but officials believe the roadway was icy at the time of the crash.
