BOSTON (CBS) — Mass. State Police and members of the US Marine Corps held a toy drive on Wednesdays to promote the 63rd annual Toys for Tots program.
Toys for Tots collects toys each year during the holiday season and distributes them as Christmas gifts to children in need.
For more than 26 years, the Mass. State Police have partnered with the United States Marine Corps in providing drop-off areas for donated toys.
Those who want to donate can drop off new, unwrapped toys at any State Police Barracks through Friday Dec. 17th.
This holiday season there is a specific need for non-violent toys designed for children ages 9 and older.
