WATERTOWN (CBS) — With retailers offering big bargains this Black Friday perhaps it’s not surprising that some shoppers cannot resist the urge to spend on themselves.
It was a busy Black Friday at the Best Buy at the Watertown Mall. It was packed with shoppers, and if you asked many for whom they were buying they’d give you three answers: me, myself and I.
WBZ-TV’s Jim Smith reports from the Watertown Mall
According to a Consumer Reports poll, 66 percent of Black Friday shoppers are shopping for themselves.
70 percent of the shoppers polled by Consumer Reports were planning to buy electronics. That comes in a close second to clothing.
