Here's a great idea for the whole family: A Mary Poppins Sing-a-Long. The classic Disney movie is playing this weekend at the Regent Theater in Arlington and you're invited to come -- in costume if you like -- and sing a long all your favorite Mary Poppins songs.

This restored film version will have all the lyrics on screen and you'll even have a bag of props to play a long.

HINGHAM HOLIDAY MARKET
Located at the intersection of Shipyard Drive and 3A
Hingham, Mass.
http://www.hinghamholidaymarket.com/index.html
Forget about the big crowds at the mall this weekend. The Hingham Shipyard Holiday Market is underway!

It takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Hingham Shipyard and it's just the beginning of a month-long Winter Festival there.

More than 70 New England Artists have been chosen to display their handcrafted, one-of-a-kind products including handbags, jewelry and pottery.

FESTIVAL OF TREES (through Dec 4)
13 Branch St.
Methuen, Mass.
http://www.methuenfestivaloftrees.com/
Get in the true spirit of the holiday season at the 17th annual Festival of trees in Methuen. More than 200 trees are on display and you can have a chance to bring one of the trees home with you. In addition to the trees.

ENCHANTED VILLAGE (through Jan 2)
100 Stockwell Drive
Avon, Mass.
http://www.jordans.com/
Remember going to Jordan Marsh at Downtown Crossing during the holidays, marveling at the Enchanted Village display? Now you can continue that tradition with your own family at the Enchanted Village at Jordan's Furniture in Avon.

In addition to the display you'll want to check out the Polar Express 4-D Ride and the Holiday Light Laser Show!

The Enchanted Village is free and open through January 2 during regular store hours.
