BOSTON (CBS) – They’re spending Thanksgiving thousands of miles from their families, fighting a war.

WBZ Radio spoke with four people who call New England home.

  Chief Petty Officer Dave Keylor of Milford, Mass. spoke to WBZ Radio’s Deb Lawler from Kabul, Afghanistan.

  Brigadier General John Farnum of Burlington, VT, who was born in Boston, also spoke to Lawler from Kabul.

  Marine Lt. Maureen Dooley is from Durham, CT. She spoke to Lawler from Kabul.

   Sgt. First Class Brian Moulton is with the Army National Guard in Vermont. He spoke to WBZ Morning News Producer Jon MacLean.
