Couple Found Dead In Home, Note Warned Keep Children Out

WESTBORO (CBS) - Officials found a husband and wife dead this afternoon inside their home after a neighbor found a note stuck to the front door, ordering the children to stay outside and to call the police.

The Worcester District Attorney's office has called the deaths of Richard "Todd" Bibart, age 43, and his wife, Rebecca A. Bibart, age 41, an apparent murder-suicide.

The couple, reportedly amidst a divorce, were found in separate locations of the home.  Mrs. Bibart in the finished basement of the home, Mr. Bibart in an upstairs bedroom.

The couple's two small children were not home at the time of the incident, and are now in state custody.

The home, on Thomas Newton Drive, was up for sale according to the D.A.

No details have been released as to the circumstances of either death.  Autopsies have been scheduled for both victims.
