BOSTON (CBS) – Tim Thomas stopped 28 shots on his way to his 4th shutout of the season in the Bruins 3-0 win over the New Jersey Devils at the TD Garden on Monday night.  The B’s improve to 9-5-1 on the season.

Michael Ryder (5) put the Bruins on the board in the 1st period with a 5-on-3 power player goal.  Nathan Horton (8) added to his team leading goal total in the 2nd, and Blake Wheeler (3) added another for insurance in the 3rd.   Mark Recchi had 2 assists.

Next up for the B’s is a trip to New York to face the Rangers on Wednesday.  You can listen to the game on 98.5 The Sports Hub, starting with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins pre-game show at 6:30 p.m.
