Menino Heads To Italy To Sell Boston As ‘European’ City
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Mayor Tom Menino leaves for Florence, Italy Tuesday to join an international panel discussing urban space and the future of arts in cities around the world.
Travel expenses for Menino and his wife will be covered by an Italian consulting group.
The mayor tells WBZ he will join a group that includes a Saudi Prince and a former French cabinet minister, meeting at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
