Menino To Propose Plan To Trim City's Costs For Health Care
BOSTON (CBS)- Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is looking at a way to cut the city's health care bill.
He says the city spends $300 million a year for coverage for the city's workers and it's expected to grow.
Menino tells WBZ News Radio the state has failed to produce a plan to alleviate cost increases, so he's filing a bill that would establish a local version of the state's Group Insurance Commission.
