BOSTON (CBS) – No one was home, and no one was injured when a construction crew accidentally broke a gas main in Hyde Park on Wednesday, leading to an explosion that leveled a home.

NStar says the contractor for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission was installing a water main at the intersection of Reynold and Danny Roads when they hit the gas line.
Gas was released into an adjacent home, which was completely flattened by the blast.
