Logan Mankins Reports To Patriots

FOXBORO (AP) – Two-time Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins has reported to the New England Patriots.

The team announced Tuesday that Mankins had reported after refusing to sign a tender offer as an unrestricted free agent.

He missed the team’s three-day minicamp in June, all of training camp and the first seven games after saying he wanted to be traded.

The Patriots drafted him in the first round in 2005 and he started all 80 regular-season games and nine postseason games in his first five seasons.

He was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2007 and 2009.

With all his off time, he had better kept himself in shape , working out constantly, learning any new plays, what have you. Other wise, stay home! We have done fine enough with out you!

Maybe he saw, with the Moss debacle, that the grass is not greener anywhere else. Coach B is tough, but not playing, or playing for a 2nd tier team, is worse.

I”d have him sit on the bench for the rest of the year. Dan Conolly has done a great job. No need to rock the boat then maybe he’ll learn what TEAM is all about
