Local Gas Prices Rise Another Two Cents

BOSTON (CBS) -- Local gas prices continue to rise.

The latest survey from AAA of Southern New England finds self-serve regular selling on average for $2.80 a gallon. That's up 2 cents from last week.

Spokesman John Paul says historically, prices go down in the fall, but the economy has changed things.

Prices range from as low as $2.71 to a high of $2.96, so it's best to shop around.
