Man Beaten In Lynn Parking Dispute Dies

PEABODY (AP) – A Peabody man severely injured in a fight over a parking spot nearly two weeks ago has died, and now police are searching for one of the other men involved in the dispute.

Authorities say 34-year-old Chad McDonald died Wednesday at a Boston hospital from head and facial injuries sustained in the Oct. 9 fight in Lynn.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Fernando Aristy of Chelsea on charges including attempted murder.

Those charges could be upgraded pending autopsy results.

McDonald’s wife, Michelle McDonald, tells¬†The Daily Item of Lynn that her husband had an ongoing dispute with someone who worked at a nearby business because they kept parking in front of the bay doors of the movers where McDonald was employed.

Chad McDonald also had two sons.
