2 National Grid workers hurt in Mass.
Two utility workers performing routine maintenance work at a National Grid substation have been injured in an "incident" that also knocked out power to about 4,000 customers in Everett and Malden.
National Grid spokesman David Graves said the utility workers were hurt Tuesday at the Glendale substation in Everett. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Graves says their injuries are non-life threatening and crews are trying to determine what happened.
He said around 3,800 customers in Everett and another 200 in Malden lost power as a result of what happened at the substation.
