Boyfriend charged in Worcester woman's murder
The live-in boyfriend of a Worcester woman found dead in her apartment is facing charges in connection with her death.
Police say 29-year-old Jamaal Dottin was charged Wednesday with domestic assault and battery, and assault with intent to murder in connection with the death of 24-year-old Kristi LeClair.
LeClair was found not breathing in the home the couple shared at about 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday. She was declared dead at the scene by emergency workers.
Dottin is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
Police say autopsy results are pending and LeClair's death remains under investigation.
