Hour 1:

  • More talk about the Patriots game, young defense having issues, a lack of intensity, and stupid penalties.
  • Audio from the Patriots game. Adolfo is on Dungy Patrol, lecturing fans about the evils of foul language.
  • Andy Hart from Patriots Football Weekly joined the show to discuss last night’s game. He touched upon Laurence Maroney and the running back depth chart, the issues on defense, play of the tight ends, specifically Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman not playing and possibly being hurt, Wes Welker’s progression, how much the starters will play in the final preseason game, and leadership roles on defense.
  • Callers discuss the Patriots game.

Hour 3:

  • More callers discuss the Patriots game.
  • More audio from Adolfo on Dungy Patrol.
  • Fred has to get a colonoscopy because his body is out of whack since the birth of his daughter and he is giving off a foul odor.
  • John Wallach has pink eye.
  • Tampa Bay Rays radio broadcaster Dave Wills joined the show to discuss the upcoming series. He talked about the Rays’ interest in Johnny Damon, their concern about the Red Sox being a factor down the stretch, Joe Maddon’s varying lienups, the inconsistencies of the Rays’ offense, whether or not there is a no or never mindset for the Rays, and the pitching matchups in this series.
  • Fred and Rich debate a little about the NFL expanding the regular season to 18 games.

Hour 4:

  • More discussion with callers about the 18-game NFL season.
  • Rich Goes To the Movies – Rich talks about the new Netflix iPhone app and does a musical movie preview of the movies coming in September.
  • Rich played a voicemail Scott Zolak left for him about Adolfo before the Patriots game.
