In his first public comments in the media since being indicted on federal charges that he lied to Congress in 2008 about being injected with human growth hormone and steroids, former Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens tells a Boston  radio station  that he is looking forward to having his say in court.

Clemens, who said he was “doing fine,” spoke with the station Friday during the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Telethon.

He talked extensively about his introduction into the Jimmy Fund, which he was first made aware of in 1984, before talking briefly about the news of his indictment.
