Between Senator Scott Brown’s inaction on the extension of federal Medicaid funds, and the Commonwealth’s inability to reform is tax breaks for corporations, innocent seniors waiting for home care have been hurt by the ‘revenue paralysis’ in Massachusetts. Home care lost $12 million in one afternoon when Senator Brown passed on the FMAP money, and today the waiting list for home care is once again climbing towards 3,000 people.
