B.J. Penn will not have to wait long to get a chance to win back the Lightweight title, just over 4 months in fact.  The rumors are true as B.J. Penn posted on his twitter (@bjpenndotcom) a video of himself signing the contract to face Frankie Edgar, with the headline, “Making it Official!! Penn vs. Edgar 2 in Boston.”

Edgar won the title by defeating Penn by unanimous decision at UFC 112 on April 10.  Edgar had hoped to avenge a previous loss to contender Gray Maynard, but he will have to wait.  Maynard is scheduled to face Kenny Florian at the same UFC event in Boston on August 28th.
