The Red Sox scored 4 times in the bottom of the 8th inning for a 5-1 win over the Angels at Fenway Park. Jon Lester continues to shine, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings while throwing 120 pitches for the win. Jeremy Hermida’s tie-breaking 3 run double and Mike Lowell’s pinch-hit RBI double were the key components of a 4 run 8th inning to snap a 1-1 tie. John Lackey will pitch tonight against his former team. Nomar Garciaparra will also be honored before the game.
