Beginning next year, The NCAA will expand the men’s basketball tournament from 65 to 68 teams. A new 14-year $10.8 billion broadcasting deal with CBS and Turner Broadcasting will allow every game to be shown live in its entirety. The NCAA had outlined a 96-team proposal a few weeks ago at the Final Four.

Why don’t they just make the entire season one giant tournament? What the heck – they should water it down and milk it for all its worth until people are sick of it and it becomes worthless… that’s the way it’s done, right?
