Red Sox Beat Twins 6-3
Jeremy Hermida hit a three-run double in the 8th inning and the Red Sox downed the Minnesota Twins 6-3 at Target Field on Wednesday. Boston has won three of its last four to improve to 4-4 on the season. John Lackey (1-0) won his first game as a member of the Red Sox. He allowed two runs on seven hits and four walks, while striking out two over 6 2/3 innings. Jonathan Papelbon recorded his third save with a scoreless ninth. Dustin Pedroia was 2 for 5 on the day with a Solo homer and an RBI double. These two teams will wrap up the series Thursday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 PM.
