Bruins Win Season Finale in SO
The regular season came to an end for the Bruins (39-30-13; 91 points) today with a 4-3 shootout win over the Washington Capitals. Michael Ryder (17,18) and Marco Sturm (22) scored the goals in regulation while Tim Thomas made 34 saves in net.
Many of the regulars for the Bruins (Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Mark Recchi, and Tuukka Rask) did not play after clinching a playoff spot yesterday.
The B's will find out their 1st round opponent later today. Boston will be in either Buffalo or New Jersey to begin the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
