Patriots Close To Signing A Tight End?
ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting this morning that, after meeting with him yesterday, the New England Patriots are close to signing St. Louis free agent tight end Daniel Fells. The six-foot-two inch, 252 pound Fells made 21 catches for 273 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams last year and just completed his second NFL season, both of which have been in St. Louis.
