Sox Unveil Plans for New Park
The Red Sox and Lee County released architectural renderings Thursday of a new ballpark, which is scheduled to open in 2012. The new stadium in Fort Myers will feature a replica Green Monster and the same dimensions as Fenway Park. A name for the new park has not yet been determined. The Red Sox have held Spring Training in Fort Myers since 1993.
