Today is the day that Red Sox pitchers and catchers are officially reporting to the team’s Spring Training camp in Fort Myers, Florida.  Position players will arrive by Sunday.  Daisuke Matsuzaka will be unable to start throwing at the start of Spring Training due to a sore back. The injury isn’t considered to be serious and Matsuzaka is not expected to miss significant time. The Red Sox open up their Grapefruit League schedule on Thursday, March 4th against the Minnesota Twins.
