The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Anaheim Ducks goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf in separate trades Sunday.

Toronto traded forwards Matt Stajan, Niklas Hagman, Jamal Mayers and defenseman Ian White to Calgary for Phaneuf, forward Fredrik Sjostrom and defenseman Keith Aulie.

The Leafs sent forward Jason Blake and goalie Vesa Toskala to Anaheim for Giguere, who won the 2007 Stanley Cup and the 2003 Conn Smythe Trophy with the Ducks.

Toronto is currently tied for the second worst record in the NHL. The Bruins hold the rights to the Leafs first round pick in 2010.
