Celtics Fall to Lakers 90-89; Lose 3rd Straight

The Celtics were outscored 30-19 after the 1st quarter, but came back to take a 52-47 halftime lead.  The C's led by 1 with 7.3 seconds left when Kobe Bryant hit a jumper to put the Lakers up 1.  Ray Allen was freed up for a shot just before time expired and missed, making it 3 straight losses for Boston.

Rajon Rondo scored a game-high 21 points to go along with 5 rebounds, 12 assists, and 2 steals.  Paul Pierce battled early foul trouble to drop 15.  Tony Allen chipped in with 14 off the bench.

For the Lakers, Bryant and Andrew Bynum each scored 19 points, Pau Gasol and Ron Artest added 11 a piece.

The Celtics will try to snap their 3 game losing streak tomorrow night against Antawn Jamison and the Wizards in DC.
