Bradley Jay: 'What Do You Like Best About Fall In New England?'

My name is Bradley Jay and I host the Jay Talking radio show which airs weekday mornings from midnight to five on WBZ NewsRadio 1030. Check out my Facebook page at facebook.com/djbradleyjay

Consider this:

Summer in this area has it's charms, but for many the season that defines New England best is autumn.

Hot July days at the beach and evening strolls on Newbury Street in August are great, but these activities are not unique to New England. No one, however, does fall like the Northeast.

Pumpkin doughnuts and beer, wafts of cinnamon and wood stove smoke, the shock of foliage color, the dusty crunch of fallen leaves underfoot and the roar of Patriot Nation are October staples. Don't forget the bean suppers, cider stalls, haunted houses, 4-H club competitions and New England handcrafted goods at fairs like Topsfield and Deerfield. And there's the majesty of what many feel is the best event or the year, Halloween. Nobody does Halloween like we do.

New Englanders, if you love the fall, you live in the right place. So for this episode of Jay Talking the question is, 'what do you like best about fabulous fall in our colorful New England region?'
